‘Network’ in Philosophical Idiot

The last poem I had published, ‘The Smallest Divisions,’ was in Jet Fuel Review at the end of 2018. That poem was a meditation on the four elements and how humanity is foreign to Nature.

This month, I’ve been fortunate enough to have another poem published. This time by Philosophical Idiot, a self-described “literary playground for oddballs.” I’ll take it.

The poem, ‘Network,’ uses an extremely casual tone to relay a very banal scene but one I think is quite common and confounding. It’s meant to explore mundanity of masculinity. I think it works.
