There was a time when I wrote poetry pretty much daily, those days have gone away. I think the last sustained real writing that I did was back in 2010 or 2011, when I did a poem-a-day during April. Since then, my writing has been almost entirely soccer related…or these ridiculously unreadable blog posts.
However, an actually talented poet–Dena Rash Guzman–invited me to InkNode, a platform for writers to share work. Sometimes it only takes a push to get things going. Today I dug out an old poem, re-titled it, and threw it up. A small move that hopefully leads to more substantial content.
